XP-830 Platinum Silicone Gel For Prosthetics
XP-830 is a soft, ~5A specialty platinum cured silicone designed for prosthetics, animatronics, and other applications requiring a realistic, translucent skin material.
XP-690 can be added to soften the XP-830 and is similar to Deadener. May also be used to produce self adhesive prosthetics.

Shore 00 Hardness: 40+/- 2
May be pigmented with silicone pigments (see Additives). Add flocking for color variations. Paint XP-830 with small amounts of XP-830 mixed with silicone pigment by hand, SAM-32, or thin mixture with solvent(naphtha/xylene) or OSS to airbrush.
Add Cling-on (XP-690), to lower the "snap", creating a great adipose (fatty)tissue effect and adhesiveness for prosthetic appliances.
XP-830 is mixed 1:1 by weight and may be made "brushable" by adding TinThix or SI-661 thickener. (see Additives)
Release original patterns with Eject-it 33 or 2500 spray release. For silicone to silicone applications, use 2350 release.
